The Treasury Assistant will support treasury operations including cash handling, bank coordination, reconciliation, and liquidity monitoring. This role is based in PECHS, Block 6 (Karachi) and works night shift hours to align with the organisation’s operational schedule.

📝 Job Description

You will assist the treasury and finance team by processing payments, preparing bank deposits, reconciling accounts, maintaining treasury records, and supporting periodic cash forecasts. The role includes regular engagement with banks, managing corporate card activity, and maintaining backups of financial data.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Manage daily cash and deposit operations, including credit card and current account handling.
Prepare and post bank deposits; perform regular bank reconciliations.
Monitor and forecast cash flow on a weekly and monthly basis.
Maintain corporate credit card records and review bank charges.
Support annual banking facility renewals and bank communications.
Ensure data backups and assist in financial data integrity checks.

🧠 Required Skills

At least 1 year relevant accounting/finance experience (internships included).
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or SAP is a plus.
Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Strong attention to detail, good organisation, and problem-solving ability.
Clear communication and good team collaboration skills.

📚 Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum one year of accounting experience, preferably in BPO or finance teams.
Ability to work on-site in Karachi (PECHS, Block 6) on night shift (8 PM – 5 AM) six days a week.
